Firstly,we have to use the same voltage power supply with the pool lights,12V DC pool lights,of course you have to use the 12V DC power supply,24V DC pool lights use the 24V DC power supply.

Secondly,the power supply power must at least 1.5 to 2 times of the installed pool lights power.For example,6pcs of 18W-12VDC LED pool lights installed underwater,the power supply should be at least : 18W*6*1.5=162W,as the market power supply are in integer selling,you have to use the 200W 12VDC power supply to ensure the led pool lights stable working.

Except the flicking problem, it may also cause the led pool lights burned out,fading,out of synchronous,no working when using a mismatched power supply.so,whatever you are installing the led pool lights for your project or led pool lights install for your own pool,it’s very important to have a right power supply to match the led pool lights.

Further more,when you are buying the 12V AC led pool lights,do not use the electronic transformer,because electronic transformer output voltage frequency up to 40KHZ or more, can only adapt to the traditional halogen lamp or incandescent lamp use, and different manufacturers of electronic transformer output frequency is not the same, LED lamp is difficult to achieve compatibility, high frequency of LED work will produce high heat, It is easy to cause lamp beads to burn out or die.
